This image was chosen because it represents the everyday buildings that are part of all our lives - our domestic lives. Our home is probably regarded as most peoples most 'treasured place' as it provides our most basic needs of security and shelter.

The house shown here is one which most of us can relate to - whilst it might not be the same type of house we live in ourselves, it's a scene familiar to the suburbs of our towns and cities across the whole of Scotland.
