This workshop provided girls from 1st Elgin Brownies with the opportunity to work alongside an RCAHMS illustrator to explore the history of and learn how to record Pictish stones in the Moray area of Scotland.
The workshop was designed to facilitate the generic learning outcomes (GLOs) identified by the Museums Libraries Archives 'Inspiring Learning for All' (ILFA) framework and to connect with the Curriculum for Excellence, aimed at enabling all young people to become 'successful learners, confident individuals, responsible citizens and effective contributors'.
The girls had a brilliant time and really learned a lot of skills which will hopefully stay with them forever
